About the Author

Leslie lives at the top of Flint Rock Ridge in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina with her two sons, Colby and Skee, and their dog, Molly.  She has spent several years in public education as a teacher and counselor.  Her love of traveling and her experiences of studying at various universities in the United States have brought to her an even greater appreciation for her home in the Southern Appalachians.
