Do you know why Kwuk The Duck was called “Kwuk”?
It was because all the other ducks on the big round pond EXCEPT Kwuk used to swim around all day saying “Quack! Quack!”
Kwuk could not say “Quack!” He could only say “Quuck!”
He used to swim around all day on the big round pond saying “Quuck! Quuck!”
That’s why he was called “Kwuk”!
Poor little Kwuk!
He did not enjoy not being like the other ducks. They used to laugh at him all the time.
“Look at Kwuk they would say. He keeps saying Quuck! Quuck!
One day all the little ducks were busy swimming around on the big round pond when a very strange thing happened.
All of the water started to rush out of the big round pond!

About the Book
KWUK! is a very clever little duck, and is much loved by the other ducks. When the pond in which they live runs dry one day, he discovers a big hole at the bottom and thinks of a way to plug the hole and fill the pond again, much to the delight of all the other ducks. In the second story, KWUK! defends their pond and his friends from selfish seagulls, and in the third story, he confronts a group of scary swans.
