That Depends On You is a true to life, modern, urban romantic love story that shows trust and passion will always overcome lust, temptation and fantasy when a person is torn between two.  Can a person stay focused even when their life is out of focus… that depends on you.

About the Author

With a natural gift and a passion for writing and performing music, Lance Carsello, also known as, Dilema has entered into the film and rock world by storm.  He aims to become the voice for young America, as he incorporates his background and life experiences into his music and films. A multi-cultural background of Italian, Hispanic and African-American descent results in having an  understanding of mixed relationships and diverse backgrounds of all people and this has helped him to create a realistic and distinctive writing style.  “I use my past experience in life and living to create stories that will make a difference and have a positive influence for young America.”

Carsello was born in the Bronx, New York.  At the age of eleven he moved to Texas with his mother and in 1993 began his career with EMI Music Publishing as a songwriter in NYC.  A few years passed and he realized the need to pursue his own career as an artist in music and film.  Carsello believed the true meaning of his music was lost when performed by other musicians and felt that he was the only one who could express the real emotion contained within his lyrics.  Later on, he decided to combine his love for songwriting and turn his numerous song ideas into screenplays.

Carsello sorted through his song catalogs to find lyrics based on his favorite subject – relationships - and  developed these ideas into a screenplay format. As a result, That Depends on You was born.  His understanding of film making, from pre- production to post production, progressed through his professional experience within the music industry and the shooting of his own videos as a producer and director.
