About the Book

Through the urging of the Holy Spirit I finally gave over to writing this guide book.  I spent many hours in prayer seeking God’s guidance for the content as well as the title.  When I ask God to give me a title, I had no idea it would be while I was on one of my solo excursions to Aruba, but it was the right time for me to receive it because I was feeling an unexplainable joy at that very moment. 

My prayer is that the single women and men that read this book will come to know the joy that only God can give at every stage of our lives.  That you may ask yourself the question, “Am I happy or am I full of joy?  They both are a choice.  Hopefully after you explore this book you will be able to make the choice of being Joyfully Single!

About the Author

Paula Davis is the youngest of three children born to Robert & Dartha Davis and was raised in the very southernly tip of Ohio.  She is active in her church, The Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, Michigan, through her involvement with the Music Ministry, Women’s Fellowship, Jail Ministry, Christian Education and wherever there might be a place for her to serve.  Paula is also the National Coordinator for the National Baptist Convention USA Inc., Woman’s Auxiliary Fashion Share Outreach Project.  She has also served as president of the Crystal Lake Missionary Baptist District.  Paula conducts workshops and speaks at churches as requested. She is employed by the General Motors Corporation in Pontiac, Michigan as the Process Lead for Promotion & Training in the Quality Network Suggestion Program.  Paula’s travels have taken her to many wonderful an exotic places and in most cases she has traveled alone.  Allowing God to direct her life led to the writing of this book and it is with much joy that she attempts to share the indescribable life one can have when we trust God and wait on Him.
