Poems of a Georgia Peach are a collection of one hundred and one poems written by a born and raised Georgia girl. They represent her family, friends, and herself. A few are opinions and thoughts but the rest are true experiences lived by real people. They are true facts of life, love, and death. They may be similar to your own experiences. Times of joy and times of pain, some are humorous and some are shocking and heartfelt. They talk about the simple things in life that are usually taken for granted. About the Author
She grew up in Calhoun, Georgia as Sheri McWhorter. She was raised with her mother, stepfather, twin sister, and brother. Years later she was reunited with her father and two other brothers. She has always had the love for sports and poetry. She has always been a hopeless romantic tomboy. At the age of twenty-five, she now lives in Florida as Sheri Sheldon with her husband and daughter. She has had two poems published in two different books by The International Library of Poetry. She continues to write about her passion for poetry and express her feelings, and also to honor the spirit of her brother.
