1. Mr. ICKLE

Little Mr. Ickle

Fell in a jar of pickle

And hysterically

Began to shout.

He yelled and he screamed

While his little eyes gleamed

As he hoped

Someone would fish him out.

Now Little Miss Dew

Was concocting some stew

She said

“Now where’s that jar of pickle?”

When she found it,

She did stare

And exclaimed “How dare?”

You swim in that Mr. Ickle .

Then Mr. Ickle said

“Believe me I plead

It was an accident indeed

I just fell in it by mistake.

I beg you pull me out

Don’t sit around and pout

It’s almost like drowning in a lake.”

20. Ozzy the Owl

Ozzy the owl

Would very often scowl.

While perched

On top of the tall elm tree.

He thought this isn’t right

That I’m awake all night

And with my big round eyes

Observing all that I see.

He engaged himself

In a hooty - hoot - hoot

As the hands of the clock

Reached mid-night .

Thought It’s great to be a fowl

And that too an owl

With extremely sharp eye-sight.

Then he was engrossed

With his short hooked beak

Said “I look a fiery fellow

But I’m really rather meek.”
