The Gift
The gift of pleasure, how is it received? Do you thank the gods for each
Exquisite touch, every word and each delight?
Pleasure given is intimate and kind, done with the purest of minds.
To touch you first with my eyes and let them caress you from top to bottom.
Slowly and deliberately, stopping at certain places of beauty,
My lips follow next and do their best to idolize and capture true passion Felt.
As these lips travel that same course from top to bottom they taste the Essence of
Your wonderful body.
Can anything
Be more pleasurable or feel more glorious?
I would say the only other thing to make this feeling perfect is the touch of Hands
On this luscious body. Give yourself up to this pleasure and know for a Certainty,
It is a true treasure.
Imaginary Lover
Hello my darling, I know you are there,
And if I have to wait a thousand lifetimes, I don’t care.
You are my heartbeat my reason for love,
You are my breath and it’s your touch I love.
I cannot be without you, for you complete me.
Parts are missing without you and yes, it is true.
I think of you and wonder what do your eyes see?
What are your thoughts, and do you think of me?
It is as though I have waited an eternity,
Yet I feel you near.
It is unexplainable, this closeness that I feel.
Open up your heart to me and you will see how
Very happy and fulfilled you will be.
I love you beyond knowledge, beyond reason,
Beyond belief;
You are a treasure like pieces of gold and precious stones.
I, keep you in my heart always throughout eternity,
I love you.
Words
When I give my words to you, it’s like giving a piece of my soul,
For every word comes from my heart no matter how large or small.
It is with deepest desire to impart knowledge, to give a breath
Of life.
Words are true, powerful, more than any weapon, words can build or
Destroy,
Words are life or death, so do not take them lightly nor
Scatter them with disregard.
Take them gently to your heart and be grateful for the love
They impart.
Kingdoms come and kingdoms go; only words remain forever.

About the Book
My breath was taken away when I read Linda’s poetry, her soul and hearbreak that she experienced really came through. I was deeply moved with emotion.
As I read this romantic journey that was her life, I am reminded of the delicate nature of love and the strength, desire and hope that it takes to want to love again. The artwork and the images she used, helped to bring magic to each page. I was captured by the beauty and intrigued by the wonders of her imagination. This is truly a must read for those romantic hearts that believe Shakespeare’s famous quote: “It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.”

About the Author
I have been writing poetry since I was a child, my first poem was written at 14 years of age. I fell in love with the written word, and books became my closest friends. I could not imagine a world without them. My favorite place to be is inn a book store or a library, I love the smell of books. I include some of my first poems in this book.
