It was 1850 in a small town outside of London. A town called Chelmsford. It was time for her to leave. She was so excited yet so sad at the same time. She had known the time for her to return to Winston Wizardial would come since the night her mother left. She had seen this very night in her dreams. She would no longer run barefoot through the forest or play with the pixies down by the river. She would no longer play with her one, human friend who lived in Chelmsford not far from her cottage. She would be with her family soon in the world of her people, Winston Wizardial.
Celeste ran barefoot through the forest towards the cottage. She didn’t have much time she thought. The tiny cottage was tucked away in the forest near a small town outside of London, England. Nobody would ever find it or see it unless you had the gift. Her time was up, it was meant to be. She was meant to go home. She would ask for the four to soon come and they would have the gift to discover the cottage and set her free once again to return to play.
She had been 12 years on this soil, in this cottage, and it was time for her to go back to her homeland. There were few of her kind left on this earth and she knew her kind would soon all be gone. Nobody believed anymore. Nobody cared. They were scared of her, but she didn’t know why. She just was able to create magic and just had special powers that they were unfortunate not to have. Her mother always said they were jealous, maybe she thought, except not her one friend Tara who lived in Chelmsford. She wasn’t afraid.
She had been born with the magic running through her blood in the cottage, and her mother had warned her that the people of the land around them did not understand and were scared of her, which was hard for her to understand. Her mother told her to keep her magic to herself. She tried, but sometimes it was hard.
Celeste came upon the cottage and ran inside. She pulled her hair out of the ponytail it was in and changed into a long black flowing skirt and black sequin blouse. She thought of her dream last night. She had seen herself within the circle chanting. She saw the four young Wizards who would soon come and would find the cottage. They were four very different girls from different walks of life. One who had no family or friends, one who came from a very mean family, two from very loving families, but they would each have the gift. Oh, they wouldn’t be here for 100 years, but they would arrive and be stronger than ever. They would be strong only as four though and only be able to find the cottage as four. She saw the confusion as they grew up, they would know they were different and wouldn’t understand until coming to Chelmsford and finding each other. But they would.
She opened the chest at the bottom of her bed and pulled out the crystals and placed them in their pouch. She grabbed her wand and then she went back through the forest to the clearing about one mile from town. She placed her crystals in a circle around her and began the chant. She threw her arms up into the air with her head back and turned in circles, over and over she chanted:
