About the Book
For so many years, I have watched the way soccer is being played in the States. I though the game should be played with more fines, intensity and creativity. I also wished more goals were scored because the soccer net is very wide compared to most other sports. The other concern of mine is the way soccer is being promoted or lack of promotion of the game in the States. Lack of goals or low scores in the game is another source of concern. These ideas have being with me for most of the time and I finally summed the courage to take up my pen and write this book “SOCCER SOLUTIONS: Generating more Goals and Winning the Big Games”. I hope this book will help improve the management of soccer, coaching of the game, playing and the promotion of this “beauty game” according to fabulous PELE, the greatest person that ever played this game. Above all, I want to see more goals scored at the games because it will generate more interest among soccer fans and convert casual fans into true fans. I could not understand why a net as wide as in soccer is invisible to the attacking teams. I hope this book will make the net more visible and results in scoring of more goals. It should be noted, however, that this book is not replacing the good works of coaches but a supplement of the great jobs done by them. My philosophy about the game revolves around more shooting of the ball more within the 18 yards line and scoring of more goals. You need to the shoot ball in order to score goals and there is no scoring without shooting and no winning without goals.
About the Author
The author is a student of soccer and played soccer from elementary through Secondary school. He studied the games from his elementary school coach and principal, who later also groom the Secondary School soccer team and coached the local soccer professional club to the championship game in the same year he took over the job. His team was very successful in scoring goals and I truly belief that teams should be able to score more goals and make the game more entertaining for the fan by the display of crisp passing, share body movement and positional plays. I also believe that the ball should be shot at least 50 times at the goal during a soccer game and not the 5 or 10 shots in most games. Educationally, I have Maters in Management Information Systems from the
