After the swings Danielle and her mother laid out a blanket on the grass to have their lunch. Danielle held her sandwich with one hand and dug in the dirt with the other.
"Believe it or not, even that could be a job. You could dig and study the different layers of the earth's crust as a geologist or look for and study fossils as a paleontologist," Danielle's mother pointed out.
"Fossils? What's fossil?" Danielle questioned with her eyes wide open.
Danielle's mother tried to explain it simply "a skeleton or leaf mark, set in and sealed in the earth's crust. Like dinosaur bones."
"Skeletons? Dinosaurs? No way! What about regular animals that are still alive? Can I be a person that works with real animals?"
"Positively! You could be a zoologist and study everything about animals or you could be a veterinarian and take care of animals as their doctor."

About the Book
Danielle, like many children, is thinking about what she wants to be when she grows up. Her mother tells her that she can be anything she wants to be and that almost anything can be turned into a career. Danielle is not quite convinced. About the Author
Gloria Marrero-Martinez was born and raised in New York. She still lives in New York with husband Mark, daughter Asia Danielle (her inspiration for this book) and their new addition to the family, daughter Sophia Anneliese. She has a degree in child psychology and education. Her love for children has lead her to pursuing her dreams in children’s literature and running her own children’s entertainment company “a blissful affair”. Children inspire her creativity and is working on hernext children’s book.
