You are Magnificent
You are magnificent Lord; you are the lover of my soul.
My only salvation if the truth be told.
For you are magnificent.
I don’t understand those whose devotions run hot then
cold.
My love and faithfulness are truly bold.
If I could not speak my devotions would speak through
my pores if the truth be told.
I reach out to behold thee grasp this eternal bountiful,
bountiful love.
Yet I shake and faint with the lightest caress,
Like a reef against the mighty ocean waves.
You are the love of my heart and my soul.
In your presence my Lord the truth must be told.
You are magnificent and quite wonderful to behold.

Mrs. Hosoda has written poetry for more than 20 years, but has recently decided to formally publish her poems in an effort to inspire others and witness for Christ. During her travels to Japan she did many poetry readings of her poems in English and Japanese. She believes that we should use every talent we have to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
