About the Book
This is a very personal account of a Yorkshire girl who was told at a very early age that she couldn't have children. Her coping strategy was to bury her emotions, but when she went to Paris in her mid twenties, she not only discovered a new life and culture, but, most importantly, she discovered her true self and so began the healing journey...
About the Author
Whilst living and working in Paris, the author wrote numerous poems which was her outlet for expressing emotions that had for years been suppressed. These were simply filed in a binder and years later she realised that they actually told a story. Her desire is to highlight the emotional consequences of infertility which she feels is an area often neglected.
