I’m Gordon, the Gordon, that’s who I am.
I’m the biggest of three and I’m all black and tan.
But what is a Gordon? I’ll try to explain.
It’s a Duke, it’s a dog, it’s a clan, it’s a name.
It’s a bonnie plaid tartan mostly purple and green,
A brilliant red tartan, regimental in theme.

About the Book
Gordy is an ambitious Gordon Setter tired of the show ring and the field. He wants to let his talents shine in the agility arena and win a triple crown: beauty, bird sense and brains. He’s pompous, silly and regal, as are most Gordon Setters.
If Walt Disney’s Goofy was truly patterned after a Gordon Setter, then Gordy is another comical Goofy in many ways.
This book gives a brief history of the breed and goes on to show Gordy’s triumphs in agility.
About the Author
As a teacher of twenty years, Jean Sievert taught many students to write while pursuing her avocation as the author of both local and state initiatives. She has been active in causes that potentially benefit children.
