About the Book
This is the author's second book of poems. The poems are meant to be light, thought provoking, and sincere. Just as life is too short to be taken too seriously, the poems in this book are also short and not to be taken too seriously. Life and love are both complicated and confusing, but so extraordinary, never the less. They need to be embraced, enjoyed, endured, and enthusiastically entertaining. Love and life can be so very unexpected; you don't always have to be ready, but you should always be willing to embrace all of their unique experiences and emotions. The author hopes readers will be willing to experience a little bit of all of those wonderful sensations when they read her poems.
About the Author
The author does not consider herself a writer or a poet, but a thinker, and she asks that you think about that when you read her poems. This is the author's second book of poems, and while she says she never set out to compile one, let alone two books of poetry, she admits that her heart and her mind compelled her write both of them. It was the challenge and the hunt for the perfect words, and most importantly her love, that kept her writing and thinking. Her next project is a novel.
