About the Book

Rose McDonald was a young Irish girl who had been imprisoned by the English Tribunal System and had been sent to the colonies to be sold as an indentured servant.  She possessed only one dream and this is the dream that plagued mankind since the beginning of time,and it was her freedom.  She contemplated various ways of escaping once she reached the new world, but in the end she married a complete stranger to gain what she perceived as her first step towards eventual freedom.  In this new world of the English Colonies she experiences many adventures, but they were brought on by the turmoil within her own marriage.

About the Author

The author is a man who fell in love with the history of his country.  He developed a passion for putting his thoughts into the form of various stories that he has written over a period of years.  Through these stories, in his own way he passes on to posterity that knowledge, which he has accumulated in his passage through life.  The story will show the readers his thirst for the outdoors and the many adventures its capable of producing in anyone’s lifetime.  He animates the story in such a way that you will feel you are living the various adventures along with the main characters of his books.
