About the Author

When I was only 18, I was attacked by a strange man. At 33, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and began my fight to survive. It was complicated; however, when I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome at age 35 and when I was hit by an 18-wheeler at 41. As I struggled to overcome these difficulties, I traveled to fascinating places such as China and Australia and enjoyed meeting families in those places. I traveled to western and eastern Europe and to South America and met wonderful people and surrounded myself with their interesting cultures, including magificent music, art, and theatre. In That’s My Life are more than 50 pictures of the inspirational people I met while I was recuperating, including well-known artists, musicians, and actors who have helped me along the way. Recently, I finished a very big dream producing a CD with oncology patients from Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.
