This is a book of poetry written from the heart of Dorothy. It is full of heartache, love, betrayal, forgiveness and hope.  It shows ability to overcome adversity and come out on the other side, a stronger, better person. It demonstrates that no matter how dark and dreary life may sometimes be, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

About the Author

Dorothy E. Foster is an African American woman from Murfreesboro, TN. She is the mother of one daughter and the grandmother of two sons.Dorothy has worked numerous jobs in various fields for many years, including sales, housekeeping, etc... Though Dorothy has been writing poetry for many years, this is her first published work. This work describes the heart of Dorothy, as the title indicates.
