Romance
The sign of love is in the air
Wondering if we should take a dare
For their will be times in our life when their is sadness
When we make a mistake that causes some madness
But if the love between them is truly strong
Then they will hold together like a mighty arm
But if there is any chance to have true romance
They can solve any of the problems like a slow dance
Love will give them two steps forward to start their path
If there is any problems it will cause one step one back
But the love they have will strengthen their stride
As they have solved their problem together with great pride
Now time will show how they will win this dance
And for many years be able to share their true romance

The Rose
The angles have sent a rose today
Which fills my heart in many ways
To feel the beautiful thoughts that have been given
I know that it came from heaven
Years have passed since the seed has been planted
Not to know the love that I have taken for granted
As small tear comes to the eye when
I look up to the sky
Trying to catch the angel as it flies by
But to my surprise I hear the sounds of music as they play
And I know in my heart the rose will be with me every day

About the Author
My name is Richard Reichwein and I likes to be call Big Rich. I was born in My childhood was very unstable, after a period of time my parents got divorced. Because of the unstable home the courts decided to place myself and two of my brothers into the Omaha Home For Boys where I lived until graduating from Over the years I have had a few different jobs. While working at a print shop I ask my boss if it was possible to use their computer after hours. I was given permission and this started a new journey in my life. I started to write a few poems and found out that this was a great way to express my inter feelings. One day while sharing some of my poems with my longtime friend which was also my school counselor from the Omaha Home For Boys . He suggested that the poems should be in a book for others to read. After talking with him I found myself spend as much time as possible writing. Their have been a few of my poems published in a small publication called the Quill. Now after six years working on this project I am finally getting my first book of poems published.
