Low in the valley I walked where the pit of sorrow lay. It was a time to learn of patience The darkness fell before me with every step I blindly took, not know where it would end, not knowing the outlook. This journey seemed so far from home, my cries echoed in the distance. When I wondered “was He still around” my heart quickened that very instant. A peace only His child could know hovered over me from above. It was the blanket of His arms outstretched, a rainbow of His precious love. I knew I was never alone, He’d always held my hand, as I walked across this valley I learned to trust and understand.
