About the Book

Dwight and Linda Laws are the parents of nine children, thirty-seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Dwight earned his doctorate in Instructional Science and Technology from Brigham Young University and for the past twenty years has directed the nation's largest distance education program. He was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was taught to believe in and look for the goodness of humanity. He has worked for two different international airlines and has been able to travel the world. His international travels opened his eyes to countries, cultures, and wonderful people. However, Dwight discovered a unique nation of the world, one that lives behind bars. The culture of those who are incarcerated is grim, often evil, and mostly forgotten. Yet, even here, Dwight found wonderful people. This story is about the incredible life of one of these people.
