About the Book

My Word Shall Guide Thee contains the radical, revolutionary thought of Daniel Wright which was received by voice, vision and dream.  "Eat the book", "Temple Worship", "Kingdomism" and other new writings provide a pure form of worship and a "polit-theo" lifestyle where all of humanity can live in peace and harmony.  Beginning in the early 1950's, Daniel committed these revelatory ideas to paper.  The original articles were typed, mimeographed, xeroxed, sent around the country and passed by word of mouth.

In l966, Daniel founded Padanaram Settlement in southern Indiana.  It is a utopian, idealistic society dedicated to equal education, philosophical analysis, social idealism, economic independence, and religious non-denominationalism.  Its thriving businesses, stewardship of the land, and its youth assure its continuity today.

In the preface of "Utopian Concepts for Social Revolution", Daniel writes:

"These are some of my memoirs of my experiences, actual encounters with the Heavenly Host.  It is to me a unique reservoir of awakening thoughts basic to the continuity of the human family.  It explains the 'why' behind the visible, contains an expose' on false religions, the reason of political abortions, proposes concepts for sound economic security, and guides the 'seeker for truth' past many pitfalls.  It is progressive in content of insight and thought."

About the Author

Daniel Wright was born in l918 in Des, Moines, Iowa of humble beginnings.  The poverty of his youth, the struggles of the miners, riding the boxcars during the Great Depression, and the dissension within religious circles led him on a quest.

In his 20’s he met up with a progressive spirit-filled people, an undenominational group in Louisville, Kentucky whose leader was William Sowders.  He was ordained  to pastor a church in Indianapolis, Indiana.  After the death of this beloved pastor, he received divine insight that changed his life.

In l962, he was led through a spiritual experience to a geographical spot in southern Indiana.  There he founded Padanaram Settlement.   Daniel writes, “I immediately felt I was entering a Garden of Eden.  I felt this was sacred ground, that man must tread softly here…I heard words.  HERE MEN WILL TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES; THIS IS HOLY GROUND...I was there.  I experienced a miracle.  Time alone will prove the truth of my testimony to all believers.”

My Word Shall Guide Thee contains his writings over a 50 year period of time.  He states in his memoirs, “Born out of due time—sort of a mutant specie under two covenants.  I have found peace as the mystic seer with the face of the eagle, ox, and lion.  As a servant of God, I can rest my case.”
