About the Book

My tribulations, I talk about during my journey are like the stories countless others experienced during the Great Migration period from the South to the North. What so many took for granted, so few were able to realize.

I am convinced that each of our lives has a purpose and I say this because what I experienced was what God had planned for me. God has placed me in the position to help others as I have been helped by others. The people I have met during my life’s journey have served in many aspects as a catalyst for me to work through them, to set the stage for changes.

I hope that all reading this book will appreciate the values of my history; then understand how it relates to their history. For I am who I am through my environmental experiences; you are who you are from your experiences or who you will become!

About the Author

I am an activist for Social Justice. An activist for people who’s civil rights has been violated. For seventy plus years, I have been fighting in the trenches, walking in the shadows for justice, keeping a mild-mannered and honorable demeanor for the rights of all people. Every since I started the fight, I have felt that our system of justice needs changing and I have sought to change all that I could; when I could not I asked God to do the rest. “Pioneer for Social Justice” is my life’s story and a realization of the presence of God. I endeavored to pursue and seek some equality in my life’s long journey to obtain justice for myself, my family and the people I saw mistreated during the struggle for social justice. The search for justice and what was so given for others was so hard to accomplish for the small minority.
