"I remember helping my dad work on his car when I was only one year old. Ready with my box of plastic tools, I was his favorite helper! He would call for the tool he needed and repair whatever happened to be broken. It was just pretend, but that was real enough for me. "Just before my second birthday, on could tell, even at my age! "As my dad came to realize what had happened to him and to Uncle Bo, he began to change. Sort of like a Transformer; only instead of his parts working in different ways, his parts didn't work at all. He didn't even sound like my real dad! In the days ahead, I would learn that plastic tools only work on cars -- not on dads." What you are about to read is unbelievable, but nonetheless true. My son was 8 years old when I heard the story from him.

About the Book
Some are not my words, not all anyway, but it is my story. I started writing years ago just to keep from going crazy. I was just a young, hard working man that made the mistake of driving to the store in one hell of a car, after taking a drink. D.D.A.D. is a realistic tale filled with raw emotions that many have experienced for themselves, and it may help others deal with life.
This never started out as a book, but I do hope it makes one now. If anything, it was a letter to Mandy.
Keep on keeping on.
