About the Book
As a therapist, people often ask my advice on how they can improve their relationship with their partner and people close to them. I decided to write about the particular way we see and do things, and what we need to do to positively reinforce the people around us.
“The World Doesn’t Revolve Around You…It Revolves Around God,” explores 24 of the most frequently discussed relationship issues. The Table of Contents will guide readers to specific topics that may be of particular interest to them. You will get more out of the book by reading the chapters in the order they are written, however if you have a partner who doesn’t like to read a whole book you can say just look at Chapter 20 or which ever chapter it is that deals with the topic you want them to see. It is not by accident that I mention Chapter 20 since it deals with prioritizing and my 24 hour rule. I often ask people if you had 24 hours to live what would you be doing? My next door neighbor asked me to mention this chapter early in the book because the message had a strong impact on him and he thought everyone could benefit from the concept. While the chapter titles are injected with humor, as are some of the chapters, the message in each of the chapters is meant to be serious. I hope you have as much enjoyment reading this book as I had in writing it.
