About the Author

Kimbali Brandon Allen is a native of Davidson, NC, a suburb of Charlotte, NC.  She is the mother of two sons, Jerrin, age 25 and JT, age 19.

She received her education at Western Carolina University and has traveled extensively for the past 23 years in her career as a Flight Attendant for a major airline.

"A King...That Sounds Good To Me" is Kimbali's first published work.  As a single mother for the past twelve years, she concentrated on raising her sons before pursuing her writing career.

"A King...", the first of many books to come , displays Kimbali's passion and talent for writing to the hearts of both children and adults.

Kimbali's inspiration for this book and series came from her nephew, Tyler. 

She currently resides in Charlotte, NC.

The Illustrator :  Bryan Wilson is married to his college sweetheart and they have a beautiful daughter together. He is the first child of three and has been drawing since second grade.  His interest has always been portraiture and figure painting, although he has been experimenting with abstraction and cubism.  Bryan has been an art teacher for four years and currently resides in Charlotte, NC.  He exhibits in the southern region.
