About the Author
Jack Cavanaugh spent thirty-four years teaching in public schools. His background includes elementary, junior and high school levels. He has taught in the inner city and suburbs. Jack has worked with gifted students as well as students with special needs. He has made presentations on New York State Standards to large groups of teachers. Workshops offered to fellow teachers features Understanding by Design. The author is a co-winner of the districts Heart Award (presented annually by fellow teachers) and is a member of Who’s Who among American Teachers.
