Pages 1-5… People say that everybody has something that is special to them. When I was a little girl, my something special was a big, beautiful, bright-leaved tree near the neighborhood park. I used to sit under my tree for hours writing stories and drawing pictures. Under my tree, nothing could be wrong. Everything always seemed as nice as summer and as sweet as pie. When I was in the fourth grade, I entered a writing contest I wrote about my tree.
