MY DAUGHTER, MY DAUGHTER is little book is a keepsake that should be passed down from mothers to daughters.  It is designed and ordained by God to uplift the downhearted.  God reached down into my soul and pulled out a new person and this keepsake is a portion of the results of His touching.  It is very important to know and understand that children are gifts from God. It is our charge as parents to nurture, teach, and uplift these gifts to the best of our abilities not only to teach them how to be assertive in life but equally important on how to be loved and cherished.   The TIME and ENCOURAGEMENT that we as parents invest while they are sitting on our knee- last a lifetime- and generates a healthy generation.  My Daughter, My Daughter should produce healthy dialogue between Mother and Daughter whether it is biological or inspirational.  Thank Him daily for your gifts!  My Daughter, My Daughter should produce healthy dialogue between Mother and Daughter.  MY DAUGHTER, MY DAUGHTER is a keepsake between a mother and daughter that shall last forever.

About the Author

Nikeitha Cherion Isbell was born Nikeitha Cherion Furlough in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 19, 1973.  As a toddler, Nikeitha would often be seen walking to class with either or both of her parents on the Philander Smith college campus where she too is now a proud alumni.  During her pre-K years she spent the bulk of her days with her Grandparents in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  She had a happy and expressive childhood.  She is the eldest of four siblings, and she is the eldest granddaughter.  Nikeitha has been writing creatively since the fourth grade. She has always had an active imagination which she would use daily while playing with her dolls and toys.  She started writing poetry which gradually lead to stories.  In 1996 she  married Andre Isbell, her highschool sweetheart.  They reside in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  In 1999 she graduated from Philander Smith College with a Bachelors in Arts- English.
