About the Book

This book came from experiences I have gone through in my Christian walk. I became a Christian in 1993 and soon enough I came to know that if I were to enjoy my Christian life, I had to renew my mind with the Word of God.

I also came to realize that, the environment that I grew up in and the developed mind set over the years, were directing how I related to God and His Word. To a larger extent, this was always in conflict with the Word of God. I would get frustrated when my prayers were not answered how and when I wanted them to. I would begin to ask myself questions such as; “Is God punishing me for something? Did God really hear my prayers? How did so and so receive what I have been asking for months?”

But as I continued to study and mature in the Word of God, things became clearer. Sometimes a believer will struggle with questions, but fear to ask them, fearing being judged or presuming they are of  little or no faith. Throughout my ministry, I have dedicated myself to encouraging people to overcome their fears in order to reach their God given potential. I believe that all of us are capable of living a full life, but misinterpretation of what is a full life creates frustration.

This book is a compass to the person who is trying to figure out where their Christian life is and where it is heading. I present truths in this book in a simple and understandable language without diluting the intended message.

I am currently the founding Pastor at God Our Rock International Church in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

About the Author

Rev. William Kimando was born in Kenya, East Africa.

He is the Pastor of God Our Rock International Church in Toronto, Canada .

This book was mortivated by the pain I saw in the body of Christ, caused by the “get rich quick” schemes of our times. Some of these schemes have found their way into our churches, leaving a trail of confused and depressed Christians. And the need for emotional healing has never been greater in the Body of Christ.

Busy schedules in our lives makes it difficult for some Christians to set aside some time to read the Word of God. This results to mental and spiritual turmoil in their lives and they find themselves at spiritual versus world crossroads, with no idea which way to go. Instead they choose to try a bit of the world here and a bit of Christianity there. No wonder some in the body of Christ are not happy, and instead things seem to be getting more and more difficult. The cry everywhere is “Lord!, when will I receive my breakthrough?”

This book deals with the areas where I feel most people are struggling most.

It is my prayer that this book will shed light in that area of your life, where you maybe needing a bit of a nudge, to tip you over to your breakthrough.

The Grace of God and Christ’s unchanging love for me made this book possible. Romans 8:38-39: For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
