About the Author

Deborah Jackson is married, a mother, grandmother and has one sister. Having a sense of community responsibility instilled in her at an early age by her parents, who were social activists, she has been involved in both social and political causes in Indianapolis and abroad .She has worked on the behalf of the homeless, battered women, family support and the disadvantaged, with the hope of world unity and peace. Deborah realizes that we have all “fallen” short of the goals and perceptions we have of ourselves and the expectations others have of us, and we of them. But she believes that with Love, Help, Understanding and Hope we can all Rise.
