Everyone has a secret place in which their heart is. Some people have a secret place in the "Most High" (Psalms 91:1). Other's secret places are stumbling blocks, and are hindered from spiritual growth because of the fruits of their labor. These are those who walk in the night, and stay in darkness--those that cannot accept the straight and narrow road to salvation. How easy is it to fall by the wayside without an accurate picture of the life one lives, and the hope of the next one to come? To those who have no one to illuminate their path, those who have stumbled from offenses by people in the Church or by family, and those who have been victimized by the god of this world and left without hope or peace. Jesus and His, resurrection power, is the light at the end of the tunnel. One must walk toward the light, to walk in the day. Because Jesus is the illuminator of men, he becomes both the life, and the light at the end of the tunnel. One must be able to see in faith, to walk in the light. Not only does he take the darkness from the tunnel, He delivers you safely to the other side. He said, "I am the resurrection and the life (John 11:25). He is the one who brings your soul from death, and takes you to the light--the light of the world.

About the Book
This book started out as a teaching series for my Sunday night Evangelistic service at our church in Odessa, Texas. When my Pastor (Elder James D. Porter), realized what I was doing he encouraged me to write this book. God and I got started on the book on the Twelfth of December, 2007. Twenty-one days later the first unedited version was complete. Thirty-two days after that the final copy was sent to the publisher.
I hope that this book, does for you, in reading it, as what it did for me in writing it.
It is the culmination of many days of prayer, fasting, believing, and working towards what God has for us all.

Evangelist: Walker's Chapel Church, Living Vision Ministries, Odessa, Texas.
Born: October 28, 1952, New York City, NY.
Graduated High School: June 10, 1970, Thornridge High School, Dolton, IL.
Served in the United States Army from July 30, 1970 to May 18, 1978. He served four years in Aschaffenburg Germany, one year in the Republic of South Vietnam as a combat infantrymen and three years stateside.
He is an Honors Graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science, in Secondary Education. He is currently teaching Texas History, United States History, and coaching football, cross-country, and track, in Odessa, Texas.
He is married to Debra Ann Pabst of Three Rivers, Texas, and they have five children, ages 12 through 33.
