About the Book

This is the second book of poems the author has written on the same simple format that enables readers to use the poems in conjunction with personal daily devotionals.  They are divided into eight sections that encompass the ideals of such categories as forgiveness and salvation, praise and worship, hopes and dreams and much more.  One big change in this publication is the scripture to each poem is included below the poem for easier access to the reader.

Through the words of the Psalms and the language of the Scriptures, certain truths are revealed in the words of the poems.  They are truths that all readers can know if they are open to the message that lies within.  Through praise and honor to God, the words reveal their meaning through simple phrases.

The writings will help the reader to understand that during your happiest or saddest moments, and everything in between, keep your eyes focused on the Lord.  Though the answer may not be clear, the destination is still the same.

These words were revealed to an ordinary person who opened her heart to what

God had to say.  Nothing is “different or “special” about her; she just learned to listen.

About the Author

The author is a “born-again Christian”, since 1973 when she was buried in the waters of baptism and released from the slavery of sin to begin a new life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

She attends worship at the King of Prussia Church of Christ in Pennsylvania.  The year 2008 marks the anniversary of her marriage to Mohammad Ajaz-Udin, at thirty-three years. They have two grown daughters, Shaista and Noreen.  Susan graduated from Northeastern Christian Junior College in 1976.  This college is now closed but remains in the hearts and souls of all those who fought to keep it open.  They eventually combined the best of two outstanding Christian Colleges – both two year institutions – making them into one outstanding four-year Christian College in the Northeast – Ohio Valley University in West Virginia.

A life of trials and triumphs include her personal struggle with depression and the serious battle of her youngest daughter’s fight against cancer.  This has led to the deep spiritual relationship she now has with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The poems are a constant presence in the author’s life becoming a serious mission to her only since 1990.  She often writes poems that outline a preacher’s sermon the way others simply write notes.  Notes get thrown away but poems become spiritual treasures that can last a lifetime and beyond.
