Love Letters
It was the love letter that these postmen delivered, and
Each postman delivered one word, “dear my love”.
I was busy to decipher these secret codes, “What does it say?”
Then, I said, “What could we do if there was no postman?”
It was a love letter that I received everyday.
Not just once but everyday.
It is the love letter that I read again today.
Each love letter is remembered, and so is each postman.
I am busy to get another new meaning from all of these love letters.
Then, I said, “What could we have done if there was no postman?”
It is a love letter that I receive today.
Not just once but every moment.
It is the love letter that I am reading and writing right now.
Each love letter will be remembered forever and ever.
I am busy to drop the tears from my eyes and smile afterward.
Then, I say, “Where are those postmen now?”
It is the love letter that he’s reading off from his heart, and
It is the love letter that I’m inscribing on his heart.

About the Book
The Jewels of Heart is dedicated to George, my significant other and best friend in my life. Our true love is the main theme in every poem. Each poem was a song that I sang for George at the different times. And those times were not all the easy ones. But the good spirit and strong belief, never the materialism, seem to make the two endure the time of challenge, grow, and become fulfilled eventually. The Jewels of Heart includes the total 16 poems, which were mostly written in year 2007. Some of the most enlightening poems are The Seashells, Our Photographs, Love Letters, and Your Golden Vest
About the Author
Ms. Susan Cho was born in South Korea in July 18, 1972. She spent her teenage-hood mostly in Reading, Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey. She went to New York University, College of Arts and Sciences and earned Bachelor of Art. She was interested in diverse disciplines and studied economics, art history, and chemistry. Then, she also always believes that she owes Columbia University for early development of her interests in life science. Columbia University awarded the full-tuition scholarship for her to participate in Summer Program for High School Students back in 1991. Her first job after graduation from college was working in Korea Local Authorities Foundation for International Relations (KLAFIR) as Assistant Director. She was working as governmental liaison and conducted researches on American public administrative policies. She was involved in many activities improving sister-city relationships, such as student youth exchange and outreaching sister cities. Ms. Cho is also a self-taught woman with insights and strongly believes in the power of education. Furthermore, she values her diverse life experiences as great assets.
