About the Book

This book is a true story of a wonderful Black man and his family. The man who came from St. Thomas Virgin Island in the early 1920s and settled in Sheffield Alabama where he married a beautiful wife and brought a stylish home during a time when most people barely had food on the table. His unique way of dealing with the nature of prejudice is very noteworthy and challenges examination.

About the Author

The author lives on the north shore of Lake Superior many miles north past Duluth Minnesota.
He enjoys the freedom that nature provides for his thinking and living, he collects books avidly, loves children and enjoys helping them to learn. When he is not studying the works of the great literary  masters he is in the rivers collecting rocks or playing flute while studying nature and loving most every minute. He also is a great Chef who at times cooks for hundreds of tourist who come to enjoy his lifestyle. Currently he is working on what I believe will be a major work titled The White City, this also is based on true events.
