Disgraced Again

She rolled over,
realizing what she had done.
Mattress sagging,
Clothes wet against her skin.
Ammonia filled her nostrils
with the scent.
She knew she had wet
her bed again.
Her small hands trembled,
as her body shook.
Tears rolled down her
Little ravished face.
She knew she had another
spanking coming.
For once again,
she had fallen in disgrace.
Slowly she unbuttoned
her small pajama top.
Pulled off wet bottoms,
laid them on the floor.
She tried so hard
to cover the mattress up,
So scared was this
little girl of four.
Pulling undies from
the dresser drawer,
Crawls back in bed,
with covers to her chin.
Huddles down,
hoping day won't come.
Ashamed at having
wet her bed again.

Many of these poems were GOD sent. Often at night, Suzanna would find herself awakened , knowing she must go immediately to her typewritter, and was often surprised the next day by what had been written.
About the Author
Having grown up on a farm in a small East Texas town, with her many brothers and sisters, Suzanna knew what it was like to have heartache and pain. At an early age, she began using Poetry as a way to express herself to others, and a way to vent her feelings.
Suzanna has had many hard times in her life , both as a child, and also as an adult while trying to raise her family of three girls, and three boys. When asked how she did it, she replied, " I learned to take one day at a time, and always put God first. No matter how bad the situation, He is still on the throne, and in control."
Suzanna has remarried and settled in Arkansas now with four of her adult children . She currently sells insurance, and spends much of her free time enjoying her many grandchildren. Suzanna states she has been blessed by the addition of three step-children, and a wonderful husband.!
