Silhouettes
Trace of shadow, fading
stick figure aperture
in search of visceral glean
has lost its human esteem.
Narrow outline, unfolding
comes alive from darkness’ sensation
dances discreetly in shades
of dying light ~
forever to elude our lonely imagination.
Patterns of realization, unraveling
the blank wall its universe ~
brief and clean.
Knowledge sends it hiding from dawn’s emerge:
silhouettes remember touch
as merely a dream.

Crimson Whispers is my Third Book of Published Poetry. Welcome to my world of darkness; a world where abuse was left behind and I see the light of being a Survivor. I am considered by many to be a Dark, Free Verse Poet. My early influences have been e.e. cummings, T.S. Eliot, Edgar Allen Poe and Emily Dickinson, besides other greats like Salinger and Whitman. Take a wild ride on a poetic side that will leave you touched, enchanted, and enhanced.
