Mars Memorandum

     The Defense Minister entered the Caliph's private chambers. The D.M. was calm and self-assured that the finalization of the agreement would please his master. During the past few months there had been labored bickering between himself and his counterpart to manifest this unprecedented arrangement between the two governments in an effort to settle the stale-mated war.

     He addressed the Caliph, "Our gladiator is preparing for off-world departure sire."

     The Caliph replied, "How did we ever manage to get into a position where our regime may be dismantled on the premise of a duel between two contestants from opposing ideologies. Our way of life is at stake and out of my direct control."

     The Caliph spun the globe of the earth on its axis and it rotated several seconds and then slowly stopped. He gazed upon it and realized how quickly the geo-political arrangement had changed from a male-dominated world to one of a female dominate global civilization. The Caliph now led a male-spirited bloc to regain superiority of the earth through war and it would be a daunting task against the Sexus Empire.

     The Defense Minister responded, "They've resorted to calling themselves Sexus because the designated noun woman has man in it. They're so ridiculous with their feminist bullshit!

     "They're also very treacherous, every single one of them! I'd rather see the world destroyed then see the Sexus dominate the world government for another solar year, but we will win!" The minister went down on one knee before his master and lowered his head in acknowledgement of their goal of destroying the Sexus.

     The Defense Minister continued, "We have taken the sure pathway to victory over them."

     The Caliph replied, "Rise my servant. Your confidence is reassuring and that's why I agreed to their gladiator option to settle this war on your recommendation. They actually believe they can out-class us in such a physical contest, its preposterous!"

     The Defense Minister spoke, "They're desperate to save the earth. We have our finger on the doomsday button and they know we'll press it without heistation."

     The Caliph let out a stressful breath, "Why must we always be the one to initiate war? Perhaps they do have a better way?"

     "No sire, not at the price of our extermination. Man was here first, it is written. They've had their brief moment to write history. Our gladiator will win the war they dare not press any further in fear we'll destroy the earth with our doomsday weapon."

     Adam, the gladiator for the caliphate entered the Brotherhood launch vessel for earth orbit and departure to an unknown destination.

     The rules for this special combat duel would only qualify a natural specimen unaltered by microchips, that's why his classification was referred to as a gladiator. This class of soldier/athelete wasn't artifically altered with nano-technological devices to enhance fighting skills. The twenty-sixth century gladiator was an idealized throwback to the ancient style of combat many centuries past from the ancient Roman Empire, that of bravery, sword and skill.

     The pilot spoke, "The Bitch must be crazy in proposing a gladitorial match. Their contestant doesn't have a chance against you!"

     Adam looked at the pilot and gave him a partial smile, "Right, it seems crazy for them to propose a duel of this nature doesn't it, but we were prepared to use our F-weapon if they continued their offensive to capture Cairo, end of everything for them. They have a lot more to lose than we do right now, with this duel they have a slim chance of getting what they desire, complete domination of the earth and the extermination of Man."

     The pilot spoke, "Kick the Bitch ass!"

     The Bitch was the slang for all women by Brotherhood terminology, but specifically the Sexus, a genetically altered female. They were the new enemy. This wasn't a war of man against man, but man against woman, and they were believed to be very treacherous. The Sexus mindset worked in ways not obivious in achieving political goals.

     The Sexus don't think they need men anymore. When you win, they'll be enough good-looking bitch stock to go around for a long time!"

     Adam strapped into his launch chair.

     The Bitch was definitely treacherous and Adam knew fighting his Sexus opponent would not be a clear-cut victory. Adam had the distinct advantage of being bigger and stronger, but inside was a fear recently acquired of this Sexus he was commissioned to fight. Their emotional and intelligence skills would be about even, but for some unexplained reason he felt like the weaker sex right now.

     The Bitch's advantage was mental in the way they solved problems. Their methods were dramatically different from the male point of view and that's how a male-dominated civilization since the beginning of recorded history fell so rapidly after women gained a political upper hand.

     Adam was born of parents in upper Egypt, the focal region of the male bloc known as the Brothers of Osiris. The Brotherhood was the natural evolution of the Al Qaida terror network of the early twenty-first century. Al Qaida had matured from loosely affiliated terrorist groups into a coalition of strongly allied legal governments spread throughout the world.
