About the Author
Susan Dreissigacker Martin
Susan is a wife, mother, pharmacist, and children’s story writer. She grew up on Whiteface Mountain in northern NY with Santa’s Workshop (a small amusement park) as her playground. She was surrounded by creative influences including artists, craftsmen, magicians, musicians, and builders. Her parents were her strongest influence. Her father Jack Dreissigacker was a builder, artist, and dreamer. Her mother Joan Eagan Dreissigacker showed her women could have it all.
Susan started Princess Stephanie stories as bedtime stories for her kids Travis, and Cassidy. Later joined by David and her niece Stephanie. These bedtime stories were often told in the dark so the children could use imagination to supply the pictures. Her stories (characters and locations supplied by the kids) also provided entertainment on long car rides to make the trips go faster.
Susan now lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband Billy and their family. She enjoys writing her stories in children’s books and hopes you enjoy reading them.
