The Author was born outside Webster, Florida, to farming parents. She graduated salutatorian in her high school class and then attended St. Petersburg Jr. College; Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and earned a degree in music and Christian education from Baptist Bible Institute, Graceville, Florida. She worked at various churches until she married and became a full-time Christian homemaker and mother of three. At sixty-nine years of age, she earned a bachelor’s degree of practical ministry in chaplaincy from Master’s Divinity graduate school in Evansville, Indiana. Her life has been dedicated to Christian service.
