Allowing.

How lovely it is to be so close.
So close to the roots of our source.
All our senses heightened
Colours, sounds, as the breeze passes by.

The sky looks down as nature does.
If we could only realise our power.
We are far from insignificant in our universe.
The universe is the totally us
As we create it all.

So we reach out with Reiki
To heal, to understand the suffering.
To try and stop the karmic drift.
To create a new meaning to life.

The Old Walkers.

Boots fastened around old socks
Old mud fills the cracks
With eyes to the coming sky
They set out, dog at excited heal. 

Conversation warms as the muscles
The spring in the tread moves on
Anticipation of old days soon stop;
The first style creaks a head.

Laughter and held back embarrassment
Arise with the leg that needs help
The twinge to be walked off again
The familiar path lingers on to heal.

The down hill after the rain falls
Gripping toes inside the in trepid boots.
Concentrated grunts of acknowledgment
As the next style looms a head

Fill us with new abound and old.
A strange familiar companion joins us
As we plod refreshing the old mud
Once more.
