"The Light, The Dark, and The Deep of It" My soul poured out into words~ Words of truth about God, love, spirit, faith, pain, addiction, and a soul restored. Truth about who I am. You could call it my own personal journey towards the light, expressed in words. May it lead each of you to see the light that shines so brightly apon you, and to discovering your own truth about life, love, and the light of God. It has changed me forever, and I pray that it does for you, as well!

About the Author

My name is Stephen Eric Vandermeer. I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1965. From a very early age I used writing as a way to escape from the realities of my life, and the pain that I felt inside. I discovered that by writing, I could free myself from the constant internal struggle I had, in understanding not only myself, but life, love and God. The experiences I have had have provided me with a tapestry of emotions, each poem a thread, each thread a part of my soul~. I will continue to write, as my heart speaks to me, and as I am moved by the spirit to do so. I am honored to share my journey with others, and pray that in even some minute way I am able to help others to see the light that I have found.  May God be with you always!
