Vertical Truths for Kids

About the Book

Having read my first published book VERTICAL TRUTHS, my sister, Renie Bruischat suggested that a "Vertical Truths" for kids to read would be a great idea, so VERTICAL TRUTHS For Kids (of all ages) was birthed.  Like VERTICAL TRUTHS, selected subjects/topics (Vertical) wrapped in scripture verses (Truths) along with beautiful artistry makes for a combination of inspiration and powerful impact.  VERTICAL TRUTHS For Kids (of all ages) is one way to "Let each generation tell its children and grandchildren what glorious things God does and to proclaim His greatness."  Psalm 145:4,5  Young and old will hear about God's blessings and give praise to Him.  That's a legacy I want to leave for my children and grandchildren!  To God be the Glory!

About the Author

When I am not playing with my grandchildren (there are three of them so far), I love to read and spend time working in my flower garden.  I still enjoy hobbies such as crocheting and knitting too, but they have become more difficult to do since being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2002.  Recently, I have discovered the art of Swedish Weave.  I have added that to my list of hobbies to enjoy.

After being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and in seeking God for strength, God's Word became a very real source of comfort and inspiration to me.  It was during this time that I began to write "Veertical Truths".  With a driving passion to inspire, encourage and to bless others with personalized messages conveyed in each of the "Vertical Truths," VERTICAL TRUTHS and VERTICAL TRUTHS For Kids of all ages came about.  This is my way to proclaim His salvation and declare His glory and His wonders, telling both young and old about the amazing things He does. 

I must give a special thanks to my friend Lynda Wiebenga.  She has again risen to the task of illustrating VERTICAL TRUTHS For Kids (of all ages) making them kid friendly.  Lynda also has Parkinson'ts disease, which makes her illustrations truly a gift from God.  So, thanks Lyn, may God bless you richly for all the hours you have unselfishly given to this venture of mine.  Lynda also has a series entitled "Children's Page Workouts" that she has put together and which is available at wmlyn@sbcglobal.net.
