About the Book

"Wildlife Wonders:  A Photographic Tribute to the Sandy Ridge Reservation" is a collection of photographs taken by the author at the Sandy Ridge Reservation.  The Sandy Ridge Reservation is one park among many within the Lorain County Metro Park system in north central Ohio.  The diversity of wildlife and the dedication of the park staff to the development and care of the park, make it a spectacular place to visit. 

About the Author

Gary A. Korzan graduated from the Bowling Green State University (BGSU)/Firelands College (Huron, Ohio) with an A.A.S. Degree in Respiratory Care Technology in 1999. He went on to earn an M.S. Degree in Training and Development (Health Services) from the University of St. Francis (Joliet, IL) in 2009 and a DHEd (Doctor of Health Education) Degree from the A. T. Still University-College of Graduate Health Studies (Kirksville, MO) in 2014. He has 15 years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and served as an adjunct instructor and clinical instructor for the BGSU/Firelands College/Lorain County Community College respiratory care program. A lifelong resident of Lorain County, Ohio, Gary enjoys hiking and wildlife photography at the various parks within the Lorain County Metro Park system. The photo of the Bald Eagle on the cover is one of several treasured photographs of eagles visiting the Sandy Ridge Reservation.
