Why there is an Angel on my Shoulder?
What is the purpose of writing this book that explains my whole life in minute details? It is to show those that take the time to read this book, that no matter what your circumstances are, and no matter where you came from, God does care for you, and will guide you through out your life time. Thru the hard times, and the best of times to. God is always there, thru His Angel setting on your shoulder.
Today at the age of seventy three, I can look back into my yesteryears, and see them just as if they were today. Oh, I have a lot of questions, that I would like to ask God, but I guess they will have to wait until I see Him face to face. God has blessed me many times over, and it has always been my thinking, that He has placed an Angel on my shoulder, even though I can’t actually see him, he’s there. When things happen, I just look up, and say thanks to my Angel, and really, it is God that I am thanking, but I truly believe that my Angel is always there all the time.
This book will show you, that even at a very young age, we must struggle, and sometimes that struggle can overtake you. As that little boy might say, God where are you? Please don’t forget me, just because I am small. I can tell you, that I have asked that question many times. In this book, I am trying to explain to you, that it doesn’t matter what happens to you as a little boy, because, in most cases, you can’t do anything about it.
You are a captive of age, and some times, that age is unforgiving. You are a captive of both, your father and your mother, and God forbid, if they fail. Now seventy three years later, I now can understand that God can’t be every place at one time, but through His power, and through His Holy Spirit, and the assignment of that Angel, puts Him everywhere. Sometimes, just talking to that Angel, puts a different light on our problems.
I think sometimes that if my mom would have just waited a few minutes, or stopped somewhere, because of the bad weather conditions, she would be here today, and this book is for the purpose, of showing you, that patience would have made the difference for me, and my whole world would not have been turned upside down.
When we lose patience, we may lose our lives, or we may harm someone else, or change their lives forever. Mom lost her life, along with my brother, because she didn’t have the patience she needed, as you will see, and I really don’t know where mom and brother actually stood with God, and that bothers me today, but I can‘t change it, and neither could that little boy at the time. Again, I want to emphasize to the readers that it isn’t always the education that you have, I’m not saying that education doesn’t help, but your patience, and your attitude can make all the difference in the world. They can make you a success, or a failure. Thought, must go into every decision that we make, and when it isn’t used, it becomes a disaster waiting to happen, and that, you will see as you read this book. In this world, we don‘t use that God given thought process too often, and then, we want to know, just where God was when we needed Him.

About the Book
All thru my life, I have had challenges from the death of my mom and brother and every turn there were more challenges. This book will explain just how I overcame these challenges. I explain how I lost my mom and brother in an automobile accident. The book tells you how a nine year old boy overcame those challenge, and was placed in an orphanage and after six years, why I ran off and what the consequences were. It is a book of determination and keeping the greatest attitude possible to achieve my goals. It explains how I lost promotions do to the good ole boy network and still challenged the system to win. I explain how I entered the Air Force and the challenges that I overcame to reach to top and never gave up. I loved my country and the Air Force made a man out of me and taught me responsibilities that were beyond my expectations. I explain what a shock it was to change back to a civilian life and the mistakes I made. It’s all here. I have explained how my marriage was challenged and the struggles we faced and with a beautiful wife overcame the difference. My Postal career was a struggle but I was the best in my field and my achievements proved that. My determination to educate myself and keep that great attitude kept me going. I explain in this book that you can reach the stars if you want to. Your attitude and determination and the help from your Angel is all that you need. I proved that after retirement life is just beginning if you set new goals and I did. It’s political time and the politicians know me.
About the Author
Almost from the time he was born he faced challenges and he turned to God for his help through that Angel setting on his shoulder. He admits that you couldn’t see that Angel but he believed that God assigns an Angel to everyone. He explained that you can overcome even the hardest of times in his book and will explain how he did it. He said that as a child in an orphanage, the challenges grew greater until he made a critical decision to leave on his own. His military career created more challenges and without a high school education, he still graduated before his original high school class did. He claimed that his marriage was created by God that cemented a wonderful life of love with his childhood sweetheart now for over 52 years. In all his adversity, he questioned God and his Angel, where were they when he needed them the most. He found out that God and his Angel were always there but he couldn’t see them and only realized later in life that God truly did answer his questions but in His own time. His career after his military life was in the Postal Service, and there he faced some of his worst challenges and how he overcame them. He says that it is a matter of determination and having a positive attitude and anyone can do the same if they put their mind to it. Faith in God and patience played an important part in his success. He stated that the education he didn’t have was overcome by his determination to win and never giving up. His belief in that Angel was always there when he would look up and ask God for help.
