About the Author
Sisters, best friends, business partners, and former models, Morae Ramsey-Davis, Milan Ramsey and Nikki Ramsey, known as “The Paper Dollz” have made quite a name for themselves. With over 10 years of experience in the fashion and entertainment industries between them, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes The Paper Dollz have seen all sides of the business. Through the road was tough, all three girls experienced much success between them-modeling, acting in commercials and independent films, walking in runway shows for top designers such as Akademiks, Betsey Johnson, and Nicole Miller, and being featured in music videos with some of today’s international hip-hop superstars like Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, and 50 Cent. In 2005, Morae, Milan, & Nikki opened Paper Dollz Production, LLC a fashion styling and image development company. They have since worked with some of the most influential people involved in music and fashion, styling for magazines, calendar shoots, runway shows, music videos, and personal shopping for recording artists, athletes and models. The Ramsey Girls are on a mission to be a voice for other models, to evoke change within the industry and to motivate other women to recognize their worth. Morae currently resides in Atlanta with her husband and son, Milan and Nikki spend their time split between both Atlanta and Miami.
Gabrielle Siengo grew up in Detroit and relocated to Chicago where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism from Columbia College of Chicago. Upon her arrival, Gabrielle immediately became immersed in Chicago’s fashion culture, which led her to co-found an organization dedicated to organizing events throughout the city bringing together hip Chicagoans, artists, and designers. She also works in higher education helping aspiring students realize their maximum potential. Gabrielle currently resides in Chicago with her husband and daughter.
