Every game should be viewed as a vacation from work, school, or any issues in life!" After coaching through two cycles of youth baseball, and four years in an adult league as well, I wanted to help more youth coaches become successful in mentoring kids and teaching the game. I also want to continue helping young players learn the mental aspect of the game. The best way I could do this, was to put everything I have learned through my experiences, into an easy read book that kids and coaches will be able to read and retain. As one youth director quoted "By the time most parents who become coaches figure alot of this stuff out, their kids are gone and so are they, or the heat of competition combined with an obsessively competitive opposing coach causes an incident that they would much rather not get frustrated with, so they go away!" I want to help coaches and kids alike, enjoy the positive impact that youth baseball is intended to have on all of us!
