Two Hearts…One Love
Because she transitioned,
so did I.
Sprouting wings
I learned to cry.
The door
she opened
and stepped outside
more alive than ever
because she had died.
How sadly beautiful
this ineffable birth
to those remaining
on this transient earth.
The soul’s rising
and setting had suddenly
become one…
The dance of an ebullient
eternal sun.
Just for a moment
our world’s intertwined,
allowing me to see
what the Creator
had designed.
Rivers of emotion
still grace my pain
Here in Divine madness
she keeps me sane.
My dream world’s
more real now…
I bathe in its light.
Gently cleansing of illusion
I regain my sight.
Because she transitions,
so do I.
Two hearts on a journey.
One love that won’t die.
