About the Book
My Road Home
It was a long, long road that brought me back to You.
I’m coming home my Lord.
When I walked away from you those many years ago I tried to fill that empty void with the things this world has to offer. Only to find that the hole inside growing deeper with each passing day. I’m coming home my Lord.
I ran so hard my Lord, I ran into those loving outstretched arms. Those nail pierced hands. That broken heart that died for my sins that are now pardoned with Your grace.
To find that perfect peace I so longed for.
I’m coming home my Lord.
You led me home Lord. That road was hard, filled with pain and sorrow. When we try to do it on our own, that is when we say; it’s been a long, long road I’m coming home my Lord.
About the Author
I was raised in a legalistic religious home full of pain and abuse. A mother who hated kids as well as herself, but I feel hers was the worse pain. The pain of dark secrets that eat her up daily. The pain of the fists that would land on my face was the least of the pain. There were many roads I would travel thru my life some of which were very painful. But my Lord Jesus can heal any pain you may have and turn your life into one of praise and peace, that perfect peace that only Jesus Christ can give, not as the world gives but Him and Him alone.
