All I need
There is nothing I need more,
Than for you to love and adore,
And if I have that, nothing else even matters.
And on this whole earth,
Nothing else has worth,
But without your love, my life shatters.
There’s nothing I need more desperately,
Than for you to love me,
Because without you, I wouldn’t even be here.
No matter where I get shoved to,
I will forever love you,
You’re the only thing that drives away my fear.
Without you, I’m blind and deaf,
Without you, I have nothing left,
And for you to be with me is my only concern.
Because although I’m still a novice,
I will always keep my promise,
Even though I know I still have much to learn.
This world could never profit,
There would be nothing but chaos and endless shouts too.
To be forever freed,
Your love is all I need,
I could rule the world, but I’d still be nothing without you.
There’s nothing more to desire,
Because there’s so much less.
We’ll be consumed by the fire,
Unless we bow down and confess.

There is something to be realized, found, or related to for everyone, no matter what age, sex, or background one happens to be. The way in which the poems are written are often similar to songwriting.
About the Author
Christopher Abbott is a first-time author who first began writing this book when he was 13. Over the years, he rewrote and revised much of it. Finally satisfied, he has decided to publish at the age of 18. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada in June 1990, Chris has lived most of his life in Las Vegas but has also moved numerous times to various cities in Arizona and Oklahoma. He is the second-youngest of 5 children, two of whom also reside in Las Vegas currently. He graduated from high school (although he was home-schooled through high school) a year early and attended a community college in Phoenix for 3 semesters. After dropping out with a GPA of 3.75, he moved back to his birthplace with his oldest brother, Stephen. It is here that he decided to re-examine his old book, make changes, and publish.
