About the Author

After the Second World War the Polish army was evacuated from Italy to England — For the next 10 month the Army employed me in the capacity as an interpreter. The power of the Chapels was such that the Publishing Houses could employ only Englishman. Poles were useful only during the war. Having Secondary education and fluent in 4 languages in desperation I have accepted work in the Devon Lunatic Asylum as a potential future nurse and interpreter. Passing my S.RM.N, and S.R.N. seeing a death end job, I took a course and become Surgical Chiropodist. Being perfectionist, my Foot Clinic in Exeter was always overflowing. I was a workaholic working 14 hrs. per day, but I even found time for a hobby — For a time I painted over 100 pictures, exhibiting some in the Academy of Art — It was after my 83rd birthday being in semi retirement that I started writing books. My Second one is being published now Poland, This one is a short version I translated my first one into English.
